Welcome to “
Disciples of the Dragon”. This site serves to promote Paul Bax’s book of interviews with some of Bruce Lee’s most famous or least heard from students and or friends. Since 1993, Paul Bax has contacted Lee’s students through phone, snail mail and email to accumulate his massive library of interviews.

The site is sectioned off into what has come to be known as the three era’s of Lee’s life in America:
Seattle, Oakland and Los Angeles. By clicking on the icons below, you will then be taken to the page containing that particular era’s interviews with Bruce Lee’s students.

Bruce Lee's final school was located on 628 College Street, where his assistant instructor, Dan Inosanto taught 90% of the classes. The school was open from 1967 to 1969.
Disciples of the Dragon has previously been released under two different covers and with less content. However, in this final version of Volume 1, the book has a whole new look and contains 356 pages of material. Each section will contain a portion of each interview with just enough information to whet the appetite of any reader wanting to find out more about the late Bruce Lee and his art of Jeet Kune Do.
